Why Scribe?

Many of the area calculation tools used by property valuers are single line drawing tools which do not adequately address the issue of wall thickness. The user needs to be very aware of how the single line drawing works and how the building wall thickness is being allocated to each area of the sketch, mistakes can be easily made.

So, why Scribe?

  1. Scribe is a genuine three dimensional model and as such accurately draws buildings adopting a wall thickness attributed to the sketch by the user. Our calculation algorithms and profiles determine where the area of the wall is allocated. This is more important for commercial properties where you are calculating GIA and NIA at the same time as well as residential valuations where you have garages attached to the main dwelling.

  2. Scribe has a full range of products that would suit your needs. We provide native applications for Windows, IOS, and Android as as well range of online and offline web based applications that can be fully integrated into your mobile application.

  3. Scribe mobile products are not a companion product, they are full functioning versions of Scribe. They work on and off line.  Many of our features are included standard and we do not charge extra for them.

  4. Scribe licenses the individual, not the device. This allows users to install Scribe on as may devices as they need. For example you can have a native app on your iPad and desktop computer, or log into Scribe on the web and access all of your sketches there.

  5. The Scribe portal stores all of your sketches, manages the synchronisation of sketches devices and provides secure unlimited storage.
